Immigration Physicals and Vaccinations

To become a permanent resident in the United States, individuals must undergo an immigration physical by a licensed physician approved by the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services. The doctors at Southern Medical Associates are registered and authorized to conduct these exams for the Department of Homeland Security.

What is included in the immigration physicals?

• Basic Physical Examination
• Required blood work, including Tuberculosis (TB) skin testing
• Verification of vaccination status
• Administration of necessary vaccinations, such as:
• Tetanus
• Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
• Copy of Laboratory Results
• Certified and sealed I-693 Form

What to Bring to Your Appointment:

• I-693 forms (available online at the USCIS website, do not sign)
• Valid, unexpired photo ID
• Immunization records, including Covid-19 vaccine
